AlteX Students Take Flight at Royal Duck!

Beyond Drone Certification

Getting your drone pilot certificate is an important milestone, but it’s only the beginning of your drone journey. At AlteX droneHUB, we believe in learning by flying. And what better way than a special flying experience with fellow drone pilots at Royal Duck, the world’s largest bounce castle!

With its colorful inflatable structures and unique setting, Royal Duck provided an exciting opportunity for pilots to put their training into practice, capture creative footage and connect with fellow drone pilots.

a Unique Flying Experience at Royal Duck

Beyond Drone Certification

Royal Duck wasn’t your typical drone flying location! It offered a unique environment for pilots to explore different drone applications, including:

• Aerial Photography & Videography:

Planning creative shots, experimenting with camera movements, and capturing the colorful venue from above.

• FPV Flying:

Practicing drone control and capturing dynamic first-person perspectives inside the inflatable structures.

• 3D Mapping:

Exploring a digital 3D model of the venue and trying various enterprise features.

Each activity brought different challenges and creative opportunities, allowing pilots to apply their knowledge and build new skills.

Putting Drone Training into Practice

Beyond Drone Certification

Drone training provides the foundation for pilots to build confidence to fly. But developing flight skills takes practice. Events like Royal Duck give students the opportunity to take what they’ve learned and apply it in a real-world setting.

From planning compositions and camera settings to coordinating flights with other pilots, there’s a lot more involved than simply getting a drone into the air. For pilots interested in aerial content creation, it’s also an opportunity to diversify their portfolio that goes beyond everyday flights.

Some of the most valuable learning also comes from interacting with other pilots, sharing techniques, discussing equipment and seeing how others approach the same challenges.

Learning, Flying and Growing Together

Beyond Drone Certification

At AlteX droneHUB, our support for students doesn’t end when they earn a drone pilot certificate.

Through hands-on flying opportunities, community events and our collaboration with Drone Vector and SpeedyDrone, we aim to help pilots continue building their skills and exploring new drone applications.

Whether you’re interested in Aerial Photography, FPV Flying, Mapping or simply becoming a more Confident Pilot, having opportunities to practice and connect with an active drone community can make a real difference.

Royal Duck is one example of what learning beyond certification can look like. It’s about putting knowledge into action, creating something memorable and enjoying the experience with people who share your passion for drones.
