Our Advanced Drone Pilot License program is designed for pilots looking to operate drones safely and legally in Canada under Transport Canada regulations.
Flying drones weighing 250 grams or more requires a Drone Pilot Certificate, and advanced operations require an Advanced Pilot Certificate. At AlteX droneHUB, we provide a comprehensive training program that prepares you for both the written exam and the in-person flight review.
The program includes two key steps:
20 hours of structured online training to prepare you for the Transport Canada Advanced exam, covering airspace, air law, navigation, meteorology, flight planning, and safety-focused knowledge.
Hands-on flight training with expert instructors, followed by a flight review to obtain your Advanced Drone Pilot License. In-person sessions are available weekly on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Training takes place at our professional droneHUB, where you gain real-world experience in a controlled environment with access to expert instructors, proper facilities, and ongoing support.
Whether you are starting your drone journey or advancing your certification, this program ensures you develop the skills, knowledge, and confidence to operate at a professional level.
