These Terms of Use and Privacy Policy (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the website, services, and facilities operated by AlteX Technologies Inc., operating as AlteX droneHUB (“AlteX”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).
By accessing our website, purchasing products or services, or participating in any activities at AlteX droneHUB, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Services
AlteX provides the following services:
- Drone training courses, flight reviews, and skills development
- On-site flight activities, facility access, and events
- Drone and related equipment sales and rentals
- Workshops, demonstrations, and community activities
- Online learning and educational content delivered through third-party platforms
Eligibility & Participation
By using our services, you agree that:
- You meet all applicable legal requirements to participate
- You will comply with all applicable laws and regulations, including drone regulations
- You may be required to provide valid identification or certification for certain activities
- Participation in on-site activities requires completion of a liability waiver prior to entry
Orders, Payments & Refunds
All purchases are subject to availability and acceptance.
Payments are processed through third-party providers. By making a purchase, you agree to their terms and conditions.
Refunds, returns, and exchanges are governed by our separate Refund & Exchange Policy, available here.
Rentals
Drone and equipment rentals are subject to availability and specific rental terms.
- A refundable damage deposit (e.g., $250) may be required
- Equipment must be returned in the same condition as provided
- Late returns may be subject to additional charges
AlteX reserves the right to charge for damages, loss, or misuse of rental equipment.
On-Site Activities & Conduct
While on AlteX premises, you agree to:
- Follow all safety instructions and operational guidelines
- Operate drones safely, legally, and respectfully
- Respect other participants, staff, and property
AlteX reserves the right to restrict, suspend, or remove access to any participant due to:
- Unsafe behavior
- Violation of rules or regulations
- Extreme weather or unsafe environmental conditions
- Any other situation that may pose risk to people, property, or operations
Assumption of Risk & Liability Waiver
Participation in drone operations and on-site activities involves inherent risks.
By accessing AlteX facilities, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation
- You release AlteX Technologies Inc., its staff, representatives, and affiliates from any claims, including injury, damage, or loss, including death, arising from your participation
Participants must:
- Park only in designated areas
- Remain within maintained site areas
- Report any accidents or incidents to AlteX staff immediately
- Comply with all safety and health protocols
Media & Image Consent
Due to the nature of drone operations and events:
You acknowledge and agree that:
- Images, video, or audio recordings may be captured during activities
- AlteX may use such content for training, documentation, and promotional purposes
If you do not wish to be recorded or featured:
- You must notify AlteX in writing prior to participation
For minors:
- AlteX will take reasonable steps to avoid capturing or using clearly identifiable images of minors without appropriate consent
You waive any rights to compensation related to the use of such media.
Intellectual Property
All content, materials, and training provided by AlteX remain the intellectual property of AlteX Technologies Inc.
You may not reproduce, distribute, or use such materials without prior written consent.
Use of Website
You agree not to:
- Use the website for unlawful purposes
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems
- Interfere with website functionality
Information We Collect
We may collect:
- Name, email, phone number
- Billing and transaction information
- Training records and certifications
- Website usage data (cookies, analytics)

We do not sell or rent your personal information.

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ontario and Canada. AlteX may update these Terms at any time. Continued use constitutes acceptance. If any provision is invalid, the remaining Terms remain enforceable.
Text Messaging (SMS) Communications
AlteX may use text messaging (SMS) through third-party platforms, including Zoom.
By providing your phone number, you consent to receive relevant communications.
- You may opt out at any time by replying “STOP”
- Messages will clearly identify AlteX
- AlteX does not send unsolicited messages
Message delivery is not guaranteed and may depend on third-party networks.
